Remote Sensing Technology

Remote sensing is a technique of recording and studying Earth and earth resources without physical connection to them.


It is the work of detecting various properties of the place without any contact with the place. If a short definition of remote sensing is to be made, it is to receive information about objects without physical contact. The basic thing for this job is energy. Without energy, detection is impossible. Just as all events in nature occur through energy, in remote sensing, they occur through energy.

In order to understand remote perception, it is useful to know the perception characteristics of our five senses, although briefly. Our eyes take all the objects that fall into the field of view and send them to the brain for evaluation and identification, evaluating them in the brain and completing the perception. In the same way, the ear collects sound waves that spread around it, sending them to the brain to make sense, and thus completing the identification function in the brain, which allows the event that we call hearing to occur. ATP energy is used in the realization of all these events. The energy source used for remote sensing is either The Sun or an artificial power source.

In order for remote sensing to occur, 7 conditions must be met.
